Unlike adults, children often can't tell if they have a vision problem. Using lights and health screening tools, we are able to determine if your child's eyesight is on the right road to development. Routine eye examinations are first recommended between 6-9 months old, then yearly after the age of 3 (or anytime if a concern is noted). These appointments are typically 20 minutes.
If you are between the ages of 19 and 64, you should have an eye exam every 2 years. If you are over the age of 65, you should have yearly eye examinations. Regular check-ups are the most effective way to prevent the progression of eye disease and keep you seeing at your best. These appointments are typically 30-45 minutes and may require dilation drops.
We are pleased to now offer online booking for routine eye examinations. Please contact our office directly if you cannot find a time that works with your schedule.
